During the month of August 2014, C3I Narcotics Unit, Maryland State Police Eradication Unit, and Maryland Army National Guard worked in a joint investigation of a marihuana outdoor grow operation in the Little Orleans area of Allegany County, Maryland. The investigation yielded a large number of "mature" marihuana plants to which is estimated to have yielded over 20 pounds of marihuana with a street value of well over $20,000.00. Suspects were identified as being from the Baltimore, Maryland area. Several arrests are anticipated in the very near future as this investigation continues.
