Once Allegany County Sheriff Craig Robertson submits the committee’s recommendations today on an enhanced school security plan- the real debate begins. Robertson, who headed up the county commissioner appointed committee, will present those suggestions this afternoon at the County Office Complex in a public forum. The main point of controversy has been between the commissioners and the board of education. While the county prefers every facet of the plan and its implementation be handled by law enforcement- the school board has balked at that, saying that school security is a board of education responsibility.
