Sheriff’s Department arrests four

On Thursday, the Deputies from the Allegany County Sheriff's Office arrested four individuals on outstanding warrants.

The Cumberland Times News reports, Crystal Marie Vanmeter, 20, LaVale was arrested for two counts of failing to appear on driving while suspended. VanMeter was ordered held on two separate $5,000 bond and remanded to the custody of the Allegany County Detention Center pending her next court appearance.

Frederick Allan Hanlin Jr., 31, Lonaconing was arrested for theft less than and $1,000 and driving without a license. He was released after posting $1,500 bond.

Falan L. Franks, 33, Augusta was arrested for failing to pay a deferred payment. Franks was extradited from Augusta and following an initial appearance in front of a District Court Commissioner, she was released on her personal recognizance.

Aaron Scott Long, 36, Cumberland, was arrested for failing to appear on driving while suspended. Following an initial appearance in front of a District Court Commissioner, he was released on his personal recognizance.
