The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in identifying a vehicle that struck a parked Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle along National Highway on November 17, 2013 at approximately 5:20 PM. The patrol vehicle was parked along the westbound shoulder of National Highway in the 300 block when an unknown vehicle traveling west struck the driver’s door of the patrol vehicle with it’s mirror. According to the deputy on scene there was a large volume of traffic at this time and someone may have observed the crash. The suspect vehicle is a Ford that is missing the passenger side mirror.
