An officer was dispatched to Martins Market for a report of subject who had been detained for shoplifting.
Upon the officers arrival he contacted loss prevention who advised that they observed Lora Elizabeth Thomas pay for some items and then leave the store with items concealed that she didn’t pay for. The value of the stolen items totaled $7.68.
Thomas was placed under arrest and transported to PH where she was charged on a Criminal Citation and processed. It was determined that there was an active Circuit Court Warrant for FTA from Washington County. This Warrant could only be served in Washington County. Thomas was transported to the Washington County where she was turned over to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for service of the Warrant.
