About a dozen Towson University students held a sit in at the president's office from yesterday until early Thursday morning.

According to the Towson University Towerlight, Interim President Timonthy Chandler signed a document that commits to actively addressing or advocating for a list of demands that seeks to increase the number of tenured faculty members of color, and adding cultural competiency courses, among other issues.

Chandler praised the students, saying he hopes this is the beginning of the conversation, rather than the end.
