On the Monday morning Dave Norman Program, a caller raised concerns about smart meters being used to do meter readings for utilities.
We made contact with Cumberland Water Department Supervisor of Technical Services and Distribution Bob Rider, who told us metering used by the city is not on continuously, and sends a report momentarily only a couple of times a day…
Rider says the limited time the unit is in operation indicates there is not a threat to the health of homeowners.
