On Saturday January 30, 2016, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Lynn Rice, age 59 of Cumberland, Maryland. The summons was issued as a result of an incident that occurred on January 26, 2016 in the 100 block of South Street.
Investigation revealed that Rice was yelling at members of the Cumberland Street Department as they were plowing snow. Rice stood in front of one of the trucks and yelled profusely for reasons unknown disrupting the duties of the street department crew members. Officers arrived and Lynn continued to yell at Officers. Lynn was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
CHARGES: Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace (2 counts).
