Special Session To Be Held Next Week

The Maryland General Assembly will meet in special session next week to work toward developing a revenue plan to help off set more than $500 million in funding cuts that were included in the “doomsday” budget approved last month. Many republicans however aren’t happy with the idea of going back into session. Senate Minority Leader E.J. Pipkin said the state has a balanced budget and its time to move on…
