On Saturday, state troopers from the McHenry Barrack responded to South Main St, Accident, for a reported male subject with a gunshot wound to the foot. The investigation revealed John Smith, 43, of Accident and Shawn Kisner , 29, of Accident were in the bedroom area of the residence when Smith discharged one round from a rifle striking Kisner in the right foot. Kisner was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital. The investigation is continuing by the Maryland State Police McHenry Barracks and charges are pending.
