State Police Investigating Hagerstown Robbery

(Hagerstown, MD) –On 01-02-2013 at approximately 1930 hours Troopers from the Maryland State Police Hagerstown Barrack responded to a reported robbery of a 7-11 convenience store located at 19340 Leitersburg Pike Hagerstown, Maryland.  Two suspects entered the store, one went behind the counter and the other approached the cashier at the counter demanding money.  Suspects fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of US currency and tobacco products.  The suspects were last seen running towards the rear of store.  Troopers canvased the area and were assisted by Deputy’s from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and Officers from the Hagerstown City Police Department, no suspects were immediately apprehended.  No weapon was displayed during this robbery.  The suspects are described as the following.  Please see attached photos of the suspects captured by surveillance cameras.

 

Suspect #1:

- Male

- 6’-0”  plus

- black and grey hooded coat

- blue jeans

- black and grey sneakers

- black mask covering face

 

            Suspect #2:

- Male

- Under  6’0”

- Burgundy hooded sweatshirt

- Blue Jeans

- Black sneakers

- White mask covering face
