Although the Allegany County Commissioners requested departments and agencies seeking funding to hold the line and not to look for increases- as a result of the opioid epidemic leading to a skyrocketing case load- the State’s Attorney’s office is in need. States Attorney Mike Twigg reported that his office needs additional dollars for staff salary and to purchase new vehicles and laptops for the department. Total request is close to $107,000 above last year’s budget…
