Stolen Items to be Displayed at Frostburg Police Department

February 27th, 2018 by WCBC Radio

Members of the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit (C3I) recently served a search warrant at a private residence in Frostburg. During the search numerous items of property were recovered that Investigators believe were stolen during a series of burglaries throughout the Frostburg area which occurred over the last several months. This is new property that has been recovered, in addition to property that had been recovered in December 2017.

Investigators with C3I will be at the Frostburg City Police Department on Wednesday, 02/28/2018, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, displaying the items, and giving citizens one last chance to recover their property for those who have not been able to respond previously. Investigators are encouraging anyone who has been the victim of a recent burglary or theft to respond to the Frostburg Police Department, during the above hours, to identify their property. The property will be released to the owners at that time.

Property recovered in December, and from the recent case, will both be on display for victims to view.

If potential victims have any questions, they can contact Detective Nick Mazzone, at C3I, at 301-777-0326.
