Strong-Arm Robbery Outside of M&T Bank

On Saturday at 07:07AM police responded to the M&T Bank on Industrial Blvd in reference to a strong armed robbery. Upon arrival officers contacted the victim in this case who stated that he was making a deposit for another business when an unknown male subject struck him in the face with a forearm causing him to fall to the ground. The suspect then retrieved an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area on foot. It appeared as if the suspect was hiding behind hedges at the outside perimeter of the parking lot prior to the victim arriving at the bank. The suspect was described as wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, black bandana covering his face, 6'00 in height with a thin build. Trooper 5 was contacted and responded to the area to perform an air search with negative results for the suspect. C3I was also contacted and is assisting with the investigation.
