Strong Early Voting Reported Around State

The Maryland Board of Elections continues to update its report on Early Voting. In Allegany County, just over 5% of the registered voters have decided on the early voting option.  In Garrett County, the number is over 11 percent; in Washington County, the percentage is about 7.5 after the first five days. Statewide more than a half a million Maryland residents have cast their votes with early voting set to end Thursday. United States Senator Ben Cardin said he is not surprised to see the strong early voting numbers in the state…
