The Downtown Development Commission hosted a workshop on downtown parking issues in early February- and has since appointed a subcommittee to prioritize recommendations. An update was provided during the most recent DDC meeting, with board chair Sandi Saville saying that she is working on scheduling a meeting with the city of Cumberland to discuss implementing some of the changes. Much of the early focus has been on encouraging the promotion of the under-utilized Center City Parking Garage as a step to alleviate parking issues…
