Superintendent Announces Several Administrative Staffing Positions

Superintendent of Schools, Dr. David Cox, recently announced the appointments of two assistant principal positions and the Coordinator of the Eckhart Alternative Program for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year to fill vacancies from last year.

               Staci Noah, former teacher at Flintstone Elementary School, will serve as the Assistant Principal at Cresaptown Elementary School, filling a vacancy left with Shannon Green’s transfer to West Side Elementary School, and Melissa Moran, former teacher at Northeast Elementary School, will serve as the Assistant Principal at John Humbird Elementary School, filling the vacancy left with the departure of Caren Kurtz. Ethan DeVore, former social studies teacher at Fort Hill, will serve as the Coordinator of the Eckhart Alternative Program, a position previously held by Dr. Charlene Shingler-Beeman who will return to the classroom as a special education teacher at Beall and West Side Elementary Schools.

            Other notable assignments include Jennifer Jackson as the new Pupil Personnel Worker for Allegany High and Braddock Middle Schools, and Jennifer Rice who will serve as a school psychologist.
