Superintendent Blank Discusses Status of COVID Challenges for Administrators

Allegany County’s soon to be permanent School Superintendent Jeff Blank tells WCBC News that his nearly two years serving on an interim basis has not been easy– with the Coronavirus pandemic and resulting crisis presenting a 24/7 challenge for school administrators.   Blank this week was rewarded with a four year contract to assume the superintendent position on a permanent basis- pending approval from the state.  Appearing on WCBC’s ‘Dave Norman Show” Blank said COVID-19 has made it virtually impossible to establish any sense of a normal school operation and administration the past twelve months- with the guidelines and metrics changing day to day…
