Suspect still at large after Wiley Ford armed robbery

 No injuries were reported Thursday night when a lone gunman robbed the Little Presses Market Gas Station at 996 Frankfort Highway, according to West Virginia State Police.

The incident occurred at 8:50 p.m. when the suspect entered the business, displayed a pistol. He received an unspecified amount of money from the station attendant before fleeing.

 

Police said the suspect is an African-American male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing more than 200 pounds.

The suspect was wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, a black scarf concealing his face and dark sunglasses, police said.

The Mineral County Sheriff's Office assisted in the investigation. Cumberland Police Department responded to the scene immediately after police learned of the incident.
