On Wednesday,  Ricky Allen Adams was found guilty after a Court trial of animal cruelty and conspiracy to commit animal cruelty in the Circuit Court for Allegany County.  The charges stemmed from a March 27, 2011 incident related to the duct-taping of a dog’s muzzle.  The dog came to be known as “Ducky.” The Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation, and sentencing will be forthcoming.  The case was defended by Stephen Tully and prosecuted by Samuel Lane and Thomas Werthman of the State’s Attorney’s Office for Allegany County
