Each year, the Allegany County Teachers Federal Credit Union gives a $250 scholarship to be used towards college expenses to the Allegany County Association of Student Councils president and Student Member of the Board of Education. This year's recipients were Dylan Spano, ACASC president, and Jenna Puffinburger, SMOB. Both students will attend Frostburg State University in the fall.
