Allegany County 911 tells WCBC News that a teenager needed to be rescued after he attempted to climb down the hillside above Maryland 135 early this afternoon.
Westernport firemen and Tri-Towns Rescue Squad responded to the incident. Reportedly, the rescue was not very complicated, and involved emergency personnel rappelling to the area where the youth became in distress.
