The next meeting of The Greater Cumberland Committee (TGCC) is slated for Thursday, June 2, at the Davis Conference Center at Potomac State College beginning at 11:30am.
The agenda will include a regional economic panel discussion facilitated by Executive Director Brenda Smith. Panelists include Alex McCoy, CEcD, Garrett County Economic Development Director, Kevin Clark, Mineral County Development Authority Executive Director, and Jeff Barclay, Allegany County Economic Development Specialist.
This will be the last regular Board meeting until September, at which time, TGCC looks forward to welcoming back Anirban Basu, well-known economist from the Sage Policy Group. This meeting will be held after Labor Day on Thursday, September 8, at the Cumberland Country Club. During the summer hiatus, TGCC staff and work groups will continue to meet as scheduled.
The Greater Cumberland Committee is a not-for-profit member based organization of 80 civic and business leaders representing Allegany and Garrett counties, MD, Mineral and Hampshire counties, WV and Bedford and Somerset counties, PA.
