The Cumberland Historic Cemetery Organization will hold a monument unveiling ceremony at the gravesite of Thomas Beall, founder of Cumberland and a Revolutionary War soldier on Sunday afternoon, November 2nd. The event is open to the public and will begin at 2:00 PM. The gravesite is located in Rose Hill Cemetery, Fayette Street, Cumberland. The mission of the organization since its inception in 1983 has been to erect and restore monuments; give tours and promote cemetery history as well as honoring the deceased.
