Three Fort Ashby residents were killed in a single vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on WV Route 28. Police said alcohol was a factor in the 1:20 pm accident. Killed were 51 year old Karen Albert, 32 year old Frank Nicholas Albert, and an unidentified 9 year old boy. The vehicle was a Plymouth Grand Voyager minivan and several other persons in the vehicle were taken to the hospital. Police say it was unclear who was driving the minivan when it crashed into a tree.
