A company that recycles commercial truck tires will open a facility in McCoole.
The Allegany County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously Thursday to extend a 15-year lease to MNM& D, Inc. of Pasadena to locate a tire recycling facility in the McCoole Business Park.
Nathan Price, county project manager, told the Cumberland Times-News the facility could employ as many as 50 people when it becomes fully operational.
Price said the company will occupy a 9,000-square-foot building on eight acres at the site, allowing for future expansion.
