The City of Cumberland Engineering Department would like to notify the public that its contractor Shaffer Construction will be making upgrades to Centre Street pedestrian crossings from Union Street to Frederick Street. Centre Street will be closed for approximately 3 days beginning September 21, 2015 to allow for these upgrades. Vehicles wishing to access the downtown area are being asked to use Mechanic Street to Liberty Street.
