On 7/9/2018 at 0955 AM, Maryland State Troopers responded to the 300 block of Posey Row Road in Grantsville Maryland for a child custody issue. While on scene Jessica Lynn Warnick, 30, of Grantsville, Maryland assaulted a Trooper. A brief struggle ensued between the Trooper and Warnick. Warnick was placed under arrest and is currently being held in the Garrett County Detention Center. Warnick was charged with Assault on a Police Officer 2nd degree and Resisting Arrest.
