On Monday, March 19th, 2018 a Cumberland Police Officer was on patrol in the area of Constitution Park when a Ford Mustang was observed in the area after hours. The officer stopped the vehicle and made contact with its occupants, Bryson R. Shepherd and Hannah M. Sheetz. A K-9 officer was subsequently contacted and responded to the area. The K-9 alerted on the vehicle and a search of the vehicle was conducted. Both Shepherd and Sheetz were found to be in possession of a quantity of marihuana. They both were arrested and transported for processing and cited and released pending trial.
Bryson Richard Shepherd, age; 19, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charge: Possession of marihuana plus ten grams.
Cited and released.
Hannah Morgan Sheetz, age; 21, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charge: Possession of marihuana under 10 grams.
Cited and released.
