For the week of October 19 – 23, 2020, ACPS reports two individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 who were within an Allegany County Public School. These two individuals are currently out of the school buildings and will continue to isolate. In both cases, ACPS worked with the Allegany County Health Department to determine close contacts of these positive cases. Those contacts have been notified and will complete a 14-day quarantine. Parents who have children attending these schools were informed through the ACPS Blackboard Notification System.
