Two people were injured today in a mishap on US Route 220 near Danville.
According to Allegany County 911, the accident occurred when a motorist backed into traffic
One patient was taken by Trooper 5, another by ambulance, to Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Volunteers from Rawlings, Westernport, and Keyser Fire Departments, and ambulances from Tri Towns & Cresaptown also responded.
Maryland State Police is investigating.
