Allegany County 911 sent firemen from Oldtown, District 16 and Paw Paw to 17804 Thomas Road for a working house fire.
The call came in at 1:51 AM, and units were on the scene until about 3:30 AM. Other companies responded with water support, but were staged off site.
Although we don't have an official report, given the relatively short amount of time fire units were on the scene, the damage sustained was likely kept to a minimum.
High winds were of concern as units arrived on the scene.
