The Downtown Development Commission on Wednesday provided an update to the Allegany County Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee on the latest plans to revitalize the downtown business district. Sandi Saville presented a brief overview of some of the challenges facing downtown businesses, and talked about the differences between the east end of the mall compared to the more thriving Centre and Mechanic Street section.
