Power outages started to become rampant Saturday evening. according to Potomac Edison.
In Allegany County, over 1300 were without power early Sunday morning, with about 600 in Little Orleans, 300 in Flintstone and 250 in Cumberland leading the pack. In Garrett County, over 500 were out, with over 300 in Grantsville.
Earlier in the evening, over 800 were out in the Ridgeley area of Mineral County, with than number cut in half by midnight. The area of Mount Storm and Bayard suffered an outage affecting over a thousand customers of Potomac Edison.
Hundreds more were affected in smaller pockets throughout the WCBC listening area. As the winds pick up, it could get worse, so stay tuned and be prepared.
