Cumberland Police, Cumberland Fire, and Cumberland Street Department crews are currently working in the 200 block of N. Centre Street due to a transformer fire. Potomac Edison crews are en route to make repairs and it is anticipated to take approximately two hours. N. Centre Street will be closed at the intersection of Bedford Street so commuters should take appropriate measures to avoid this area until further notice.
