The City of Cumberland Engineering Department on behalf of Lumos Networks would like to notify the public that beginning on Monday November 14, 2011 North Bound lane of Mechanic Street will be closed from Harrison Street to Baltimore Street for a utility installation. Also Pershing Street from Liberty Street to Mechanic Street will be closed to thru traffic. A detour route will be in place directing traffic around the construction area. This project will begin Monday November 14, 2011 and will continue for approximately 2 weeks. Please use caution in the area of construction and follow the detour route in place.
