Allegany County Commissioner Bill Valentine will serve on the Commission on Innovation and Excellence in Education.
Established by the Maryland General Assembly, this premier group is charged with analyzing and reforming K-12 public education funding. Valentine co-chairs the Maryland Association of Counties Education Subcommittee.
Based on his MACo experience and with the construction of a new Allegany High School, Valentine asserts that re-thinking education in the State of Maryland is a must.
