Valentine Weighs in on System That Passed on Peak Harvest

An editorial in the Cumberland Times News this week strongly suggests the system used to award medical marijuana licenses in Maryland was essentially a rigged one. The focus of the commentary deals with the fact that the seeming slam dunk choice for a license- Peak Harvest- was passed over. Allegany County Commissioner Bill Valentine tells WCBC News that he has talked to members of the commission about the process that was used- and while he can see where some would cry foul- he stops short of calling it a rigged system…
