Van Hollen to Host Constituent Telephone Town Hall on Coronavirus

This evening, Wednesday, March 18, at 6:30 pm, U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) will host a constituent Telephone Town Hall with healthcare expert Dr. Leana Wen to discuss issues relating to the coronavirus. On the call, Senator Van Hollen will hear directly from his constituents on their thoughts and concerns surrounding the coronavirus, and he and Dr. Wen will answer their questions. The Senator will also provide an update on efforts in Congress to address the impacts of the virus and his work to support the State of Maryland’s response.

    Question: For Dr. Wen

    If I get sick, and it could be just a cold, but I’m not sure if it is the virus, or not. If I’m unable to get to a medical center, what do you suggest to take as a home remedy?
