Two people were injured in a vehicle accident on US 220 near Cresaptown Tuesday afternoon.
Maryland State Police are investigating the incident, and volunteers from Cresaptown FIre and Rescue responded.
US 220 was closed in both directions for about a half an hour, before being opened to one lane of traffic around noon.
The entire highway was opened shortly thereafter, according to Allegany County 911.
