On 02.28.2012 Deputies of the Allegany County Sheriff's Office responded to Willowbrook Road in the area of Country Club Road for a report of a 4 vehicle motor vehicle crash with injuries and entrapment.
Investigation revealed that Alyssa Butler, 19 y.o. of Cumberland, was traveling South on Willowbrook Road and struck a vehicle that was making a turn onto Country Club Road the second vehicle was being driven by Patricia Walker, 32 y.o. of Cumberland. A vehicle traveling North bound being operated by William Michaels, 53 yo of Cumberland, attempted to avoid the accident and struck Butlers vehicle, causing Michaels vehicle to roll over and slide into a vehicle being operated by Billie Jenkins, 50 y.o. of Paw Paw, WV.
Butler was charged with failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision.
Walker was transported to Cumberland Hospital for apparent non-life threatening injuries.
Willowbrook Road was closed for approximately 2 hours while the State Highway Administration and Cumberland Fire Department cleared the roadway.
Cumberland City Police also assisted in the incident.
