Warrants Served on Two Area Women

Arrest Warrant Served On Tuesday, March 8, 2016 Cumberland Police served an arrest warrant on Kelsey Connors. The warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred in August of 2015. Connors was admitted to the Western Maryland Health System. While in the emergency room Connors became combative and assaulted a member of the hospital staff. Officers investigated the complaint and later filed charges at the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office. A warrant was issued and Officers located Connors on Park Street. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland Police Department where she was processed and later taken to the District Court Commissioner’s Office. Connors was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on $2,000 bond. Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Kimberly Kennell. The warrant was issued as a result of Kennell failing to appear in the District Court on an original charge of failing to send a child to school. Kennell was processed at the Police Department and was transported to the District Court Commissioner’s Office. She was then remanded to the Allegany Detention Center on $5,000 bond.
