WCBC Younger Toyota Student Salute Awards Presented

The Allegany County Board of Education announced the winners of the WCBC Younger Toyota Student Salute Scholarships last night.
Julia Moore, from Allegany High School, was selected to receive a full year's academic scholarship to Frostburg State University, while Delanie Blubaugh, of Allegany, and Brady Shaffer, of Fort Hill, were awarded $500 scholarships.
The selection process included applications from 42 seniors, which were screened and selected by the Education Committee of the Chamber of Commerce.
WCBC General Manager Mary Clites made the presentation, along with school board Vice President Tammy Fraley.
