Even though we're only halfway through August, many West Virginia school systems are already back in session. Locally, the first days of school for Hampshire County is Tuesday and Mineral, Grant and Hardy Counties on Thursday. State Superintendent Mike Martirano is pushing for a good start for students, setting a goal of high attendance the first two weeks.
