West Virginia Cracking Down on Seatbelts

West Virginia law enforcement agencies will be cracking down on drivers who do not wear their seat belts. Police across the state are starting the first of four seat belt enforcements from Friday through December 1. West Virginia's seat belt laws are a primary law which allows police to stop a driver and issue a citation simply for not wearing a seat belt.
