West Virginia Loses Leftover Funds

Federal officials have rejected West Virginia’s proposal to spend $2.5 million in funds leftover from a broadband stimulus grant. The state will have to return the unspent funds to the federal government. The National Telecommunications & Information Administration, which is overseeing the stimulus grant funding, rejected the proposal last week. The agency said state officials did not answer enough questions or provide sufficient details about the project
