Western Maryland Jaycees has officially launched registration and fundraising for the annual Lights on the Lake event at Rocky Gap State Park. “The Jaycees are excited and proud to take on this community project to help bring cheer throughout. We are looking forward to having local businesses and organizations participate this year and really bring us all together!“ says Keira Shilling, Western MD Jaycees President & Chair of the Event.
The non-profit organization is looking for sponsors and light builders to host the
event that will be held at the State Park’s Day Use Parking Area the second, third
and fourth weekends of December. The sponsorship/builder deadline is November
12th.
Businesses, Artists and Christmas light enthusiasts are encouraged to “sponsor” a
space for $25. Each Sponsor may fill their space with creatively placed lights to help
spread holiday spirit while supporting a local nonprofit organization and continuing to
keep this annual event alive.
