Western Maryland Mission Of Mercy Clinic To Be Held Today And Tomorrow

For anyone needing oral health care who can’t afford to go to a dentist- once again this year area dentists and organizations will be running the Western Maryland Mission of Mercy clinic at the Allegany County Fairgrounds.  This will be the fourth year for the clinic at the multipurpose building. The clinic is set for today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Mary Beth Pirolozzi, executive director of County United Way, said that in previous years patients have come from seven states and 22 counties in those seven states with about 850 people served each year. That’s a total of more than a million dollars of free dental services in the years the clinic has been in existence. Pirolozzo said more than 1,200 people could potentially be treated in the next two days…
