A Westernport man was arrested by Allegany County Sheriff’s Deputies over the weekend. 38 year old Jason Shingler was charged with a 2nd degree assault upon 44 year old Rhonda Ward. He is also wanted on a Burglary charge in Garrett County, and has been held in lieu of $15,000 bond in the local detention center.
