Westmar Middle School students collected 200 pounds of soda can pop tabs during the 2015-2016 school year in an effort to help families in need. The pop tabs will be donated to the Morgantown, West Virginia Ronald McDonald House, who turns the metal tabs into cash to support families with children in the hospital. These tabs provide families with extended-stay sleeping rooms, games, and other activities.
